They have an option of pursuing higher studies for specialization or they can seek employment in. :- Pathology laboratories :- Pharmaceutical industries :- Biotechnology industries :- Beverages industries :- Research areas etc. This discipline also generates self-employment therefore private microbiology labs can also be set up after higher studies.
Eligibility : Graduate Degree in biological life sciences or a equivalent qualification with a minimum of 50% marks
Subjects: Subjects taught in MMB include General Microbiology, Bacteriology, Biostatistics and Computer Application, Biochemistry etc.
Duration: Four semesters (Two academic years)
